Here is a good smattering of pics from the trip! I have an insane amount so I’m sure this won’t be the last sample. A few are from the beach in front of our bungalow on Koh Tao and others are from our boat trip to other sides of the Island or of the Ladyboy show we saw at the Queen’s Cabaret. I snapped the monks in a province called Katchanaburi about 2 hours outside of Bangkok near the Burma border. We went there to bathe elephants and see the River Kwai Bridge. Oh how I’m going to miss these Thai beaches :( I seriously want to move to Koh Tao. No joke…
I am currently stuck in Guangzhou, China waiting for a flight to Bangkok that I missed last night due to a delay in Vancouver. We’ve been here for almost 24 hours but if all goes well, we will be en route to Thailand in 2 hours. I hope you all are doing well and expect picture spam of my actual trip when we arrive/ when we find reliable wifi!! It’s hot and humid here in China but it’s pissing with rain on and off- likely accounting for all the delays. Looking forward to the sun in Koh Tao and the treks in Chiang Mai.. But most of all, I’m looking forward to leaving this damned airport! Love all you folks and look out for another post ASAP :)) xo
There’s already a Change.org petition against the passing of Amendment One, which banned same-sex marriage, civil unions, and domestic partnerships in North Carolina. These things actually tend to be pretty damn effective.
Let’s see what the power of Tumblr can do! I know there’s at least a million Tumblr users who are against this sort of harmful discrimination and bigotry.
